Researchers for Bloomberg Intelligence have grounded their calculations in a different perspective on the conventional and alt-meat market.
Almost as giddy as the growth of the alt-meat market is the business of predicting the growth of the alt-meat market. Where the market is going and when it will get there varies widely, depending on who’s doing the prognostication: The global market will be US$8.8 billion by 2027, or US$10.8 billion by 2028, or US$3.5 billion by 2026.
