French food-tech seeks regulatory approval in Australia and New Zealand.
French food-tech startup Gourmey last week submitted a regulatory dossier for its cultivated duck to Food Standards Australia New Zealand.
The application, initially announced by Cellular Agriculture Australia, covers the creation of foie gras and pate products with a 5% to 80% inclusion rate of cultivated ingredients. If approved, the cultivated duck cells will be mixed with other ingredients.…
