‘We’re going to have meat in Florida’: DeSantis

Cultivated meat in the cross-hairs of DeSantis as ban bill works through state legislature.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis said his administration supports conventional agriculture practices, which is why the state’s legislature is putting forth bicameral bills that would ban the production and sale of “fake meat.”

“You need meat,” DeSantis said in a news conference. “We’re going to have meat in Florida. Like, we’re not going … to have…
