US Senate bill would ban cultivated meat in schools

Following a flurry of state-level bills, federal lawmakers float cultivated meat bill.

Legislation introduced by United States Senators Mike Rounds (R-SD) and Jon Tester (D-Mont.) would prevent cultivated meat products from being served in schools as part of the National School Lunch Program and the School Breakfast Program.
