Two Republican bills take aim at cultivated meat with different end goals.

Arizona lawmakers have put forward two bills that would regulate how consumers in the state interact with cultivated meat products.

House Bill 2244, crafted by Rep. Quang Nguyen, would make it illegal to label a product that is not derived from livestock or poultry as “meat.”
