Government program will help Korean cultivated meat firm grow rapidly.
The Gyeongbuk Creative Economy Innovation Center recently honored Tissen BioFarm as one of its 2025 Preliminary Unicorn Companies.
As part of the recognition, the cultivated meat maker will take part in the province’s Enterprise Development Project, which is designed to help local startups grow into “unicorns,” the industry term for privately held startups valued at more than US$1 billion.
