Biobank in India will lend cultivated meat industry, researchers a hand.
India earlier this month inaugurated its first animal stem cell biobank at the National Institute of Animal Biotechnology, built with a ₹1.85 crore (US$210,000) investment from the government.
The lab will provide high-quality stem cells of animal origin as well as cost-effective cell-culture media to research institutions, veterinary clinics, hospitals and industry.
