Nottingham-based bio-tech firm PluriCells recently announced the launch of several pluripotent embryonic stem cell lines from pigs, sheep and cattle for the cultivated meat sector.
The cell lines, which the company says are stable, fully traceable and "effectively immortal," were developed at food standard and are free from genetic modification.
