Michigan, Wisconsin tackle labeling of alt-protein products

Michigan and Wisconsin have joined the growing roster of states considering legislation to establish consistent rules covering labels on alternative protein products. 

The efforts are focused on preventing confusion among consumers, according to their sponsors.
