Canadian bio-tech firm officially gobbles up Swiss fermentation-enabled, yeast-derived ingredients company.
Canadian biotechnology firm Lallemand announced that its Swiss subsidiary, Danstar Ferment, has acquired Swiss precision fermentation company Evolva. Both companies develop yeast-derived ingredients, including flavors and fragrances, like umami enhancers for alt-meat products.
