Plant-based steak maker opens factory, plans grocery launch.\
Vegan steak company Offbeast (formerly Mooji Meats) has set up its manufacturing plant in a 17,000-square-foot former chicken plant in northwest Baltimore and plans to expand into independent grocery stores.
The 14-man company makes three 3D-printed, whole-cut style SKUs: filet mignon, ribeye steaks and steak bites, all make from soy and wheat protein.
