Plant Based World Expo postponed
Emerald X, the trade show and event company behind Plant Based World Expo, recently announced that Plant Based World Expo 2025 — originally scheduled for London in November — has been postponed indefinitely. The 2025 Plant Based Expo North America event is still scheduled for December 2025 in New York City.
Roslin Technologies makes a move
Scottish biotech Roslin Technologies, a spin-out from the Roslin Institute, recently moved into a bespoke lab and office space at Roslin Innovation Centre. Recognized as an “anchor tenant” of the center, which is located at the heart of the University of Edinburgh’s Easter Bush Campus, Roslin’s staff is now concentrated in a complete wing. The company develops technologies designed to help other companies sustainably grow cultivated meat.
Royal Tempeh earns USDA Organic cert
Royal Tempeh, a brand owned by Jans Enterprises Corp., recently obtained USDA Organic certification for its range of tempeh products available in the US market. The certification confirms that the tempeh is produced with certified organic ingredients at every stage, from fermentation to packaging and even the company’s adherence to organic farming practices, including crop rotation and natural pest management.
