Nebraska Gov. Jim Pillen on Thursday “ceremonially” signed LB246 into law, banning cultivated meat in Nebraska.
Pillen was joined by State Sen. Barry DeKay, who introduced the bill on Pillen’s behalf, and Nebraska Department of Agriculture Director Sherry Vinton at Shamrock Locker, a butcher shop in O’Neill, to celebrate the occasion.
