Swiss ALDI stores are offering the own-brand product at price parity with conventional chicken.
ALDI Switzerland has introduced a mycoprotein-based alt-chicken filet, called Gourmet Filet, under its new MyVay store-brand.
Made with Libre fermented mycoprotein, which is owned by Swiss fermentation-based biomanufacturer Planetary SA, the alt-chicken contains only four ingredients and is available in 242 stores at price parity with conventional chicken.
